About our Team
We are a dynamic team that works across journals and oversees a range of initiatives of strategic importance.
This includes supporting authors when transferring papers as well as supporting our journals in matters of research integrity and publishing ethics.
About the RoleYou will work within a wider internal team of Editors, Journal Managers, external Editors and Publishers.
You will enable both the smooth day-to-day management of peer review and the timely acquisition and publication of special issues and related invited content.
Responsibilities:
- Assess research papers and coordinate the peer review process
- Recruit, commission and edit content
- Build relationships with researchers and support authors through the process of peer review
- Expand your scientific acumen and horizons by handling papers in different areas and at different journals
- Work on and lead exciting projects
- Strengthen your project and time management skills
Requirements:
- Have a PhD in a relevant scientific discipline to our Journals
- Possess a desire to learn about new areas of science across and have broad scientific interests
- Have an agile mindset and the ability to quickly adapt to new situations
- Have effective time management skills
- Have excellent interpersonal and networking skills, and a collaborative working style
- Be interested in editorial projects and scholarly publishing trends
- Be a critical thinker and have the willingness to learn and absorb new areas of research
