This Production Scheduler job will suit:
- Previous experience of working within a Master Scheduler, Production Scheduler, Production Planner, or similar type of role.
- Good experience of using production planning systems such as MRP/ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with several departments and people within the business.
- A good general understanding of how a manufacturing / production business operates e.g., supply chain, inventory, manufacturing processes etc
- Analytical mindset, be able to spot issues / opportunities for improvements and optimise the role of Production Scheduler in the business.
This Production Scheduler job will involve:
- Coordinating schedules and inventories to ensure efficient and effective production operations.
- Collaboration with sales, logistics and manufacturing teams to establish schedules and plans and allocate available resources.
- Integrates sales orders with the master schedule, coordinates availability of raw materials, equipment, and resource to meet customer requirements.
- Schedule work through production areas to match requirements and production capability.
- Generate weekly and monthly production reports.
