About this role:
Buttle UK, The Smallwood Trust and Turn2us are grant making organisations who believe no one in the UK should live in poverty. We are working together to look at the causes and impact of gendered poverty on women and their families in Middlesbrough.
***It's important that this project is led and informed by women and their children affected by gendered poverty because we know it will help us have greater impact and shift power. We are seeking an energetic, organised and passionate Middlesbrough Community Coordinator who will help work with local women and their children as well as local organisations to design this programme.
We'd love you to bring coordination experience, an understanding of projects and programmes and any knowledge and experience you have of the local voluntary and community sector in Middlesbrough - whether that is paid work, volunteer work or experience accessing services.
This role will be managed and hosted by the Local Programmes Team at Turn2us, but you will work closely with staff from all three organisations.
You will be required to travel to the London office on a quarterly basis - your travel and accommodation will be paid for.

If you join us at Turn2us, you will start on 25 days annual leave per annum (prorated for part time workers).
Each year in the month you joined, you will receive additional years leave up to a maximum of 30 days.
On top of this you will receive bank holidays.The charity also offers 2 volunteering days per year to allow staff to gain experiences and skills outside of work for example at a food bank or becoming a trustee at another charity.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working.
