Domestic Assistant

The Residential and Sport Services Division within the Directorate of the Student Experience is seeking to appoint an additional 9 Domestic Assistants to support business operations across the student residential campuses.
The individuals will be part of our Domestic team responsible for a range of activities including the twice weekly cleaning of communal spaces within residential accommodation, maintaining public areas and preparing bedrooms for occupation by students and conference guests.
You will need to be proactive in preserving a safe working and living environment, and in supporting the University's reduce, reuse and recycle programmes.
You will work closely with colleagues within the Facilities and Domestic teams, the Reslife team and the Administration teams to support day to day operations including the reporting of buildings maintenance issues and student welfare concerns.
You will need to be able to work independently as well as being a great team player. You should be committed to delivering excellent customer service and making a difference in the life of our students.Working patterns available are 9am-2pm and 10am-3pm Monday to Friday.
