Your new role:


As a Digital Training Specialist you will be tasked with creating and rolling out the ongoing eLearning and classroom training for the Patient Experience (PX) and Support teams with the support of the wider Learning and Development Team.

Utilising your knowledge of training delivery you will drive excellence across the PX and Support Teams and in doing this, strive to improve the experience that our patients have whilst using our service.


It's critical that you can deliver functionally and think strategically in a complex, fast changing environment, with a roll your sleeves up attitude to help us build a business we can be proud of, where patient care and excellent clinical outcomes is at the heart of all we do.


Requirements:

The key tasks in your new and exciting role with us:

  • Able to interpret defined learning objectives and content frameworks to build bespoke eLearning.
  • Champion digital learning accessibility.
  • Develop creative and easy to use training materials using PDFs, Word, PP, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
  • Work as necessary with the Learning and Development Team to design and develop training programmes which ensure high levels of competency within the PX and Support teams.
  • Complete training for both the induction of new starters and any upskilling required in the PX Team.
  • Encourage growth within the PX team, nurturing development and identifying opportunities for all team members to participate in continuous improvement.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and assist with special projects as required.
  • Other related duties as required.

Hopefully a description of you and your experience:

  • Experience of having worked in a training role and all elements of the training cycle
  • Use of eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate
  • Familiar with video editing tools such as Premier Pro/Rush/Camtasia or similar
  • Knowledge of using Claromentis Intranet and Digital Workplace Software
  • Some knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
  • Any background in creative digital content or graphic design
  • Ability to upskill the team around digital learning and design
  • Passionate selfstarter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment and deliver against shifting priorities
  • Demonstratable high level of verbal and written communication skills
  • You will have effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Coaching, problem solving and creating an enjoyable learner experience will come naturally to you, with the ability to set priorities, manage multiple activities and effectively deliver on time
  • Demonstrate commitment to providing a highquality service
  • The ability to work both autonomously and effectively contribute to a team
