EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is a subsidiary of Edvance, which is a joint venture between EDF and Framatome, established in 2018 in charge of the design and the realisation of nuclear islands for new projects in France and worldwide.

In particular, EDF EPR Engineering UK is responsible for the design and construction of the nuclear island for Hinkley Point C (HPC) project and preparing the design replication and engineering activities for the Sizewell C (SZC) Project.

At HPC we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

For the SZC Project, work on the replication strategy and some early design studies are already underway and being delivered and managed from both France and UK.We are currently looking to recruit a Mantis data Administrator within the Project HPC Interface Team.

The engineer will collaborate with other teams within the HPC project service, particularly within the Technical Directorate, including the Sequence team and the PMO team.

The main activities of the Mantis data Administrator are as follows:

  • Identification and management of users and roles in the tool (creation/evolution/deactivation of accounts)
  • Continuous improvement of data quality in the data bases, including management of correcting routines
  • Support to the teams with mass data treatment (extract, post treatment, injection...)
  • Data analysis with Excel
  • Development of KPI (Excel, PowerBI...)
  • Communication with the team members and the project engineering teams
The role is based in the Bristol office (at Aztec West). within the Aztec West office in north Bristol;

  • For this reason, travel in UK and regular travel to France and Germany is required as part of the role.
Design configuration and Design coordination managers and engineers

  • SZC Project Team (Edvance and EPRe)
At least 3 years' experience in engineering / data management

  • Robust knowledge and extensive experience of data analysis and programming with Excel or other database software;
  • Project and delivery management experience;
  • Ability to set, achieve and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality;
  • Working knowledge of the French language;
  • Nuclear New Build, EPR or PWR experience;
