Alexander Steele have joined in partnership with this market leading food business to add a Buying Administrator to their Supply Chain team.


The Role


Our client who are based in Northampton, is a fantastic employer who have cultivated a great working culture across the business, where someone can develop a long term career.

In this role the successful applicant will support the procurement function assistingin the purchasing and efficient delivery of raw materials.

You will be responsible for managing relationships with customers, suppliers, to ensure the business has sufficient raw material, with minimum wastage.

You will also be involved in the sale of a bi-product that the business produces, you will research & use market data to track, trends, demands to ensure an optimal procurement strategy.


What my client will also offer is job security, an opportunity to develop your career in Procurement/Buying and provide training around their products, current suppliers, contracts and systems.


What we're looking for are individuals who are experienced administrators working within a manufacturing environment or experienced administrators with exposure to buying/purchasing, with an accute attention to detail who would like to work in a new sector.

  • Office Based, 37 hours, Mon to Fri office hours
