London, Greater London, United Kingdom Acin Limited Full time

About us

Our product is all about collaboration and innovation. So are our people. We're a small team, but we've got a big vision: to build a brand-new infrastructure for operational risk management. It's not easy. We're redefining the way some of the world's biggest financial services companies and banks work with data. There are a lot of challenges – but a lot of opportunities to think and act creatively, too.

Backed by banks (JP Morgan, Citi, Barclays, Lloyds, BNP) and ratings agencies, Acin helps banks objectively manage their risk control landscape. Based on a network of peers, Acin's data protocols connect a bank's risk control data across their firm and industry leading to greater cost savings, and creating huge efficiency savings across the bank both in front and back-office operations.

The role

You will shape and deliver the Acin product to become a market leading cloud-based platform, finding innovative solutions to address client problems.

Main duties

  • Working with clients and Acin team members to define, shape and solve problems via our product suite.
  • Working with the Chief Product Officer, you will define and track quarterly objectives, own the ongoing product roadmap of different product sets and any related metrics or key results.
  • Owning all product management processes and tooling.
  • Leading designers, engineers and data scientists to explore, test and document solutions to these problems.
  • Collaborating with Intelligence & Analytics, Engineering and Client teams to embed product releases for maximum impact and value.
  • Hosting end user workshops to elicit and define requirements of how the Acin product can better solve problem areas. Working with end users and our design team to discover, explore, and clearly define problems to be solved.
  • Coordinating and coaching cross functional squads to discover solutions to problems and deliver OKRs.
  • Prioritising the delivery workload of the squads and shaping feature releases to deliver OKRs.
  • Driving innovation of squad teams to deliver effective & elegant solutions to clients' problems.
  • Supporting the development of the Acin Product Vision and Strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Product Manager within a big data or AI driven company, leading a single or multiple cross functional squads of engineers, designers, and data scientists.
  • Operating in a complex technology and data environment, with a good understanding of data engineering, data science and artificial intelligence.
  • A clear track record of solving the hard problems by bringing cross functional teams together and inspiring your team in the process.
  • Experience of delivering impactful products in an agile manner.
  • Setting up, managing, and getting the best out of Jira, Notion and Product Analytics tools.
  • You can communicate clearly and effectively to challenging audiences, both technical and non-technical.
