St Gregorys Homecare Ltd is one of the largest social care providers in Lancashire and Cumbria and has been operating within the community over 25 Years's Gregory's Homecare Ltd are now looking for staff to work on our
"Agency" team working locally Lancashire, Preston and Fylde and Wyre and in the South Lakes We are looking for new staff to join our existing team, it is a requirement to hold a current valid UK driving license and have access to own car to travel to and from different locations of work for block shifts.

This team will work predominantly with our clients in a nursing\ residential setting

Responsibility's

  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing care and support to all services users within that setting.
  • Assist with hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Prepare and serve meals adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Document information accurately in a timely fashion
  • Supportive and caring individuals to promote independence & choice, help people achieve their personal outcomes and develop new skills through person centred planning.
  • Confident individuals to support people through physical care, assistance or prompting in accordance with individual care plans, respecting dignity and preferences.
  • An organised individual to assist people to access mainstream and specialist services and agencies that promote their health and wellbeing. An effective communicator who can share information as appropriate whilst maintaining confidentiality and data protection requirements in line with policy.
Someone with a positive attitude, who can demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness and a willingness to develop new skills.

Qualifications and requirements for the role

  • A willingness to travel to and from different locations of work should you accept work
  • A willingness to work and adapt to different work settings and face different challenges on a daily basis.
A willingness to have Enhanced DBS check on the update service to be checked on a regular basis.

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients

  • Must be able to pass a background check
