Job Description

What you'll be doing

  • Programme Management: Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to plan, execute, and deliver programmes using agile methodologies. Guide scope, resource plans, timelines, ways of working and deliverables.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts by assessing the impact of initiatives on internal stakeholders and ensuring effective communication, training and support are provided.
  • Programme Governance: Ensure governance and decision-making processes are in place and provide facilitation at governance forums.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including executives and department heads, to gain support and involvement in initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with delivery and proactively develop and execute risk mitigation plans.
  • Delivery Tracking: Continuously monitor and evaluate delivery performance & relevant metrics. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Project/Delivery Management: If required, be prepared to manage at a lower level of detail where there is no local delivery management in place.
  • Ways of Working Development: Contribute to defining and improving internal ways of working across programme and project management, change management, and agile delivery management.

  • What you'll bring to the role
    • Repeated experience of managing large-scale programmes, preferably in a product-led environment
    • An understanding of the components of a modern data landscape and strong experience of working on projects in the data space
    • Strong working knowledge of agile methodologies and agile at scale
    • Preferably someone who is from a technology background and who really understands the roles and deliverables relevant to data and software focused initiatives.
    • Demonstrated experience of leading business change activities to help staff through the change curve and ensure adoption of new systems and ways of working
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
