We are looking for a skilled Insurance Claims Surveyor to join our team at a leading Claims Management Organization. Our company is known for delivering top-notch Claims Management services to the Insurance Industry across the UK.

  • Join our experienced Surveying Team and play a crucial role in providing technical support for building damage aspects of claims within your region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits within your region to assess risks and evaluate claims
  • Offer technical assistance for building damage parts of claims and support to the customer services team
  • Review buildings claims and validate them based on Surveyor reports and relevant information
  • Manage Buildings Insurance Claims including updating reserves, settlements, and closing claims
  • Identify cases for cost savings, arrange site visits, and work with approved Contractors
  • Collaborate with Contractors for contract reviews and joint site visits as needed
  • Coordinate with Complex Loss Claims Handlers and directly communicate with policyholders during joint site visits
  • Verify customer invoices/quotations using Xactware when necessary
  • Assist in auditing Surveyor network and Contractors with support from Regional Technical Surveyors and Supply Chain Manager

About you:

  • Essential experience in Buildings Insurance Claims
  • Surveying experience in construction/trade
  • A relevant Surveying Qualification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Hold a full clean driving licence
