Business Development Manager

The Company Recruiting for Business Development Manager - Pump Rental Solutions:

The Purpose of the Role of Business Development Manager - Pump Rental Solutions:

As Business Development Manager, your remit will be to sell a range of pump rental solutions across an established territory which comprises of northern UK, but there may be need to travel further south. You will manage projects from start to finish, from conducting site surveys, winning contracts, and overseeing installation on the customers' site. The established client base is varied, including water authorities, civil engineering contractors and petrochemical plants. The role is a mainly managing existing customers but also includes new client acquisition.

For the position of Business Development Manager - Pump Rental Solutions, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Hands on mechanical engineering experience
  • Some sales experience but attitude and a willingness to learn is more important
  • Sociable with great relationship and account management skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a close knit team and happy to muck in
  • Must be well presented, professional, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
  • Able to spend the occasional night away from home
  • Driving licence

  • Up to £44,000 basic salary DOE, plus 10% bonus
