Kingston College is on the lookout for a Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinator to boost students' mental health and overall wellbeing.

  • Develop and implement proactive strategies
  • Provide support services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for a positive learning environment

This role involves managing a wellbeing team, organizing training sessions on stress management, resilience, and mental health awareness.

As the main point of contact for students and staff, you'll guide them to external resources when needed.

Working closely with the safeguarding team, you will integrate mental health into college activities.

Requirements:

  • Professional certification in mental health counseling or psychotherapy
  • Experience in mental health, preferably in education
  • Knowledge of mental health issues affecting young people
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
