  • Have relevant experience in a similar environment or appropriate qualifications.
  • Should hold appropriate academic qualifications to at least GCSE standard, professional qualifications to at least NVQ level 2, or be able to demonstrate competency through proven experience in a similar role.
  • Have good interpersonal skills, be able to operate as a member of a busy team and be able to seek and accept guidance and support as required and as offered.
  • Have the drive, initiative and ability to respond quickly to further developments in the provision of learning support in schools.
