There is a new exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Support Officer for our Duty and Assessment team.

If you have experience in delivering effective and high-quality business support enabling us to support our internal stakeholders, children, young people, and their families, we would love to hear from you.

Regarding the role of Reporting to the Senior Business Support Officer, the Business Support Officer will need to provide competent, organised, and professional support and will handle sensitive and confidential information.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, distributing, and writing minutes for multiple multiagency safeguarding meetings
  • Managing and responding to requests received in central inboxes
  • Maintaining internal databases and ensuring statutory deadlines are met
  • Ad hoc administrative duties to support the team About you This is a fastpaced role working with a variety of customers in and outside of Achieving for Children.

  • Able to make good use of technology to perform functions and ensure work is timely and accurate

Requirements:

Qualifications
‐ Knowledge of working within a childrens service context

‐ GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics

‐ Ability To Communicate Effectively Both Orally & In Writing To A Wide Range Of People

‐ Teamworking skills and the ability to work on your own initiative

‐ Experience of multi-agency working

‐ Self Motivated, Flexible & Resourceful

‐ Experience of working in an environment where you maintain records and minutes of confidential multi-agency meetings

‐ Trustworthy and reliable

‐ To be able to competently minute professional/practitioner meetings and produce an acceptable draft within a specified timescale

‐ Previous experience in similar role

‐ Experience with using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

‐ A commitment to operate in a customer focussed environment

‐ Record keeping and report writing

‐ Ability To Organise Own Workload To Meet Targets & Deadlines

‐ Proven record of minute taking

‐ Confident in using ICT to undertake the required functions of the role
