As a Science and Nutrition Innovation Lead, you will guide various science and nutrition innovation aspects to shape the future of Kellanova's cereals and snacks. Your responsibilities include shaping our diverse product portfolio, from contributing to upstream innovation processes to collaborating with external partners on scientific discoveries. This full-time role is based in our Media City office in Salford, with a hybrid working arrangement between home, office, and occasional European locations. You will be part of a three-member team, reporting directly to our Wellbeing Category Leader.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

  • Build Nutrition Science knowledge & Translate findings into competitive nutritious solutions to empower the business strategy and unlock commercial opportunities.
  • Lead on Nutrition Science knowledge transfer to empower our employees, specifically our R&D community and technical teams.
  • Inspire and guide Innovation & Renovation, including the development of the food blueprint for front end innovation and the portfolio's nutrition strategy to help drive business growth.
  • Foster strong and credible relationships with external stakeholders such as key opinion leaders, food innovation companies and suppliers to support business development.

We're Looking for Someone With

  • Proven experience in concept ideation, translating scientific findings into practical applications, and driving innovation in the nutrition field within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong experience in working with cross-functional End to End teams and influencing/managing a diverse network of stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate at different levels through the organization and to translate complex concepts/scientific topics into simple and stakeholder-oriented information.
  • Ability to critically analyse scientific data and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate scientific insights into strategy.
  • Strong internal and external networking skills.
