Job Overview
As part of the Finance Team, we use our expertise to save the Hospice time and money and are more relevant today than ever before.
The Finance Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day processes and oversight of the Hospice's accounts payable functions including invoice processing, approval workflow management, payment processing, and accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
The role entails but is not limited to:
- Ownership of outbound cash management including purchase ledger, employee expenses and bank reconciliations
- Management of the Finance Admin inbox including Investigating, resolving and responding to internal and external customer queries promptly, using best practice
- Manage the handling and counting of donations and their handover to the cash collection services
- Assisting with VAT preparation and the related quarterly reconciliation
- Support the Finance Team with daily and monthly tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Adherence to policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
- Trust worthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information
- Identifying and improving processes and supporting the strategy for cross business unit working
