Cafe Store Assistant

Since opening its doors in January 2020, Pick Up Cafe has become the town's favourite coffee destination, offering the finest coffee (100% Arabica, directly imported from Italy), as well as a selection of other beverages, pastries, and French patisserie desserts.


To uphold our high standards and deliver exceptional customer service to our valued customers and the community, we are currently seeking a coffee shop assistant for an immediate start.


Duties and Responsibilities:


This role will primarily be in the cafe, food handling and preparation with excellent standards of service and hygiene are expected.


As a cafe shop assistant in the shop you will be engaging with customers, replenishing stock, housekeeping and operating the tills to provide an excellent all round experience.


In both aspects of the role you are expected to represent Pick Up cafe as well as our amazing customer service reputation.


Job Requirements:


As this is a customer facing role, high standards of customer service are required as well as the ability to work as part of the team and be flexible in your duties to meet the needs of our busy Coffee Shop.

Housekeeping also forms part of this role to uphold the standards of the shop so good cleaning and display skills are required

Additional Information:


We have a number of different ways to work flexibly so at your interview feel free to talk about what flexibility means to you.

There are no guarantees, however, it may open the door to not only a new role but a new way of working.


We would like to be able to work for all days of the week with 1 or 2 days off per week.

We are only looking for full time and not only weekend assistance.

From 07:30 in the morning.
