Store Manager Assistant

This is a permanent position with a full-time contract, offering realistic career prospects and a competitive salary of £26,600 per annum, plus bonuses.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a rapport with customers, providing excellent service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Assist with opening and closing the store, including managing stock, cash handling, and maintaining a secure environment.
- Analyse financial reports to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
- Process telephone and email orders, as well as mixing paint as required.
- Customer service experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy paint tubs and maintaining a high level of fitness and mobility.
- IT literacy and proficiency in using store systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues and the Store Manager.
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Valid driving license and ability to drive the store van for deliveries.
