Sales Support Coordinator

Whilst Account Managers are the key point of contact between Locata and our customers, Account Support Executives at Locata assist the Account Managers with a range of activities such as attending meetings, taking notes and assigning action points, producing quotes and proposals and arranging meetings with performing many other administrative functions of the Accounts team.
What do Account Support Executives at Locata do? Key responsibilities for this role include:Liasing with customers via email and Microsoft Teams
Arranging Meetings (in person and via MS Teams) on behalf of Account Managers (AMs)
Attending Meetings with Ams to take notes and action points
Distribution of relevant action points to the relevant team members and colleagues
Preparation of quotes and proposals on behalf of AMs
Preparation of reports and various monitoring tools to help inform and guide the work of the accounts team
Management of some minor projects
Preparation of various support articles and support tools to assist Account Managers and other team members in the performance of their role.
Prepare and monitor project documentation on behalf of Account Managers / Project Management teams.Engaging with the wider work of Locata such as marketing, development pipeline, focus groups and more as the requirement arises
Any other work as appropriate to support the AMs and the Accounts Director as appropriate
Key Skills and Characteristics Key skills for this role include:
Organisation monitoring a varied range of clients and projects will require you to be organised and able to administer your own workload.
Attention to Detail This role are often responsible for the preparation of important sales documentation such as Quotations, so its important that youre able to check and ensure the quality of your own work.
Self-Starter / Independent Working We will support you in learning the role and its functions but much of the work is done independently outside of an office environment so having a drive to learn things for yourself will always be of value.
Communication Our work focuses on solving our clients problems. Youll need to be able to communicate effectively to seek and attain solutions.Commercial Acumen Whilst we are a not-for-profit, we are still a business, and Account Managers need to be inquisitive and entrepreneurial.
Relationship Building you are the face of Locata, able to nurture and develop strong relationships with stakeholders, particularly our clients.
Adaptability Our work is exceptionally varied we need people who can adapt well when requirements, products and ways of working change.
Passion Were exceptionally passionate about what we do and are looking for someone who would bring that level of enthusiasm about Locata to the table too.
Willing to learn Weve experienced great growth in what we offer our customers so we need people who are willing to learn more and help us build on our already strong foundations.
Travel This is a predominantly remote role, but Account Managers do visit client sites on a regular basis, either via Car or Train and therefore on occasion the Account Support Executives may join them on these visits.

Attitude and a willingness to learn are far more essential qualities.Experience working within a housing team within a Local Authority or Social Landlord.
Experience using one (or more) of our products.
Knowledge of PRINCE II or some other Project Management methodology
Knowledge of using some form of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Knowledge of using some form of Project Management system
