We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Interim HR Advisor on behalf of one of our clients, a West Midlands local authority.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, providing HR support and acting as the first point of contact on HR matters for employees and managers.

As an Interim HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality and responsive HR service for the Council.


This is a temporary position as an Interim HR Advisor, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a supportive HR team.

The role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with a significant remote working component. A competitive hourly rate is offered dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters to employees and managers
  • Support the HR team in delivering exceptional HR services
  • Act as a focal point for all HRrelated queries and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records in our HR information systems
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost professionalism
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to foster positive working relationships

Requirements:

  • Proven HR experience
  • Familiarity with computerized HR information systems
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong team player with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Business World or similar HR systems
  • Public sector experience is beneficial but not essential
