People Services Administrator

Shiremoor

Temporary

£10.42 P.H

Monday - Friday (Between 8am - 5pm)

Our client is Northern Powergrid, based in Shiremoor. Their vision is to be the best energy company in serving their customers while delivering sustainable energy solutions. They have an exciting opportunity to join their Recruitment Department processing DBS checks.

As a dedicated People Services Administrator, this is an essential role within the People and Change directorate, supporting with all HR Admin duties.

You will be the first point of contact for all HR queries and provide an advisory service where possible or escalating accordingly.

The team is responsible for the delivery and management of the full life cycle of HR administration activities company wide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering an administration service which includes Core HR lifecycle activity and Core Payroll activity
  • Ensuring all new starter, lifecycle changes and leavers are entered into the HR/Payroll systems in an accurate and timely fashion to meet payroll deadlines, allowing for accurate and timely payments via our payroll team
  • Managing the People Services inbox
  • Prepare, check and issue all neccesary documentation in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Accuratley updating all records in a timely manner
Key

Competencies:

  • Hold exceptional customer service skills during all voice and nonvoice customer contact.
  • Be proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly with Excel and possibly mail merges.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and maintain data integrity.
  • Well organised with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative skills with the ability to prioritise work in line with customer demand and to agreed Service Levels

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C or NVQ Level
  • Microsoft Office pack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
