As a Home Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes.
If you are passionate about making a difference in people's lives and have the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting elderly and vulnerable adults in their day to day living, ensuring they are safe and comfortable and living as independently as possible in their own homes
- Helping with toileting, washing, dressing, meal times and medication, manual handling, as well as observing and reporting on deterioration to their health, social interaction and care of their environment
- Accompanying to appointments, shops, events and days out
- Being a familiar face, someone to make them feel comfortable and safe in your presence, look forwards to your coming, and be improving their lives wherever possible and in line with their care plans.
Requirements:
- previous experience of 1 year working in this area of care or similar
- All experience considered including domiciliary, hospital, nursing homes as well as supporting family members.
- Genuine passion and commitment to supporting the vulnerable and be able to empathise is critical.
- You must currently be a driver with a valid UK driving licence (other licences will not be accepted), and access to a reliable car to drive while you are working.
