We are looking for a Trainee Accountant to join our firm of accountants based in White Chaple, London.

Your duties will include managing a portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders through to limited companies.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership over your role and work within a wider team with the opportunity to mentor and guide other members around you.

We are a growing firm with some exciting clients, you will get the chance to manage those client relationships independently and gain exposure to all levels of accountancy practise.


What you will be doing:

  • Preparing yearend accounts and financial statements
  • Personal and corporate tax return preparation
  • Client bookkeeping and management accounts
  • VAT returns and Payroll Processing, i.e. RTI Submissions
  • Take new and existing Clients Appointments
  • Managing some nonfinancial roles or responsibilities encompassing Data Protection and Health & Safety as appropriate
  • Day to day Practice Management duties

What you will need:

  • Accountancy and Practice Software skills preferably
  • VT, Bright Pay, Xero, QuickBooks, Tax filer,
  • Effective communication and writing skills
  • Customer Services and Compliance Skills

Role Requirements:

  • You are required to provide and deliver highquality tax, accountancy, VAT services with the personal touch that our small business client's demand. Working closely with the existing team including our Director and taking a leading role in the preparation of final work while liaising directly with clients.
