Salary:
£36,000+ pro rata (£14,595). Please note this is a part time role 15 hours/2 days per week

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the central collation and reporting of quality assurance activities across all Early Careers provision in line with the Quality Assurance calendar
  • Supporting the UK wide Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) group to ensure standardisation and sharing of best practice across BAE Systems Early Careers programmes and full compliance with all awarding organisation requirements
  • Liaising with Site Heads of Early Careers and key individuals ensuring that quality assurance requirements for subcontracted provision are promoted, monitored and supported
  • Providing support locally around the ongoing End Point Assessment process and providing a meaningful analysis of activity taking place on site
  • Supporting internal site deep dives ensuring internal quality standards are upheld as well as inspectorate and regulatory requirements/standards, and providing aftercare to sites following a deep dive audit
  • Supporting with the production, updating and circulation of key documentation including policies, processes and templates, ensuring a consistent approach across the UK

Your skills and experiences:

  • Knowledge of Internal Quality Assurance and Verification practices with the ability to identify and implement appropriate improvement measures
  • Highly proficient in using a range of I.T. programmes to input, analyse and present data mainly office Excel, PowerPoint and Word. (SharePoint/Workspace is desirable)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of frameworks/standards and EPA requirements (End Point Assessments)
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Strong understanding of the work based learning environment
  • Internal Quality Assurance Award (IV or equivalent qualification) is highly desirable

As a Quality Practitioner, you will play a key role in contributing to an outstanding learner experience.

Reporting to the Apprentice and Skills Quality, Funding and Compliance Manager UK, you will contribute to the development and delivery of operational processes and strategies for raising standards, contributing to an outstanding learner experience.

You will provide both support and guidance on quality assurance and compliance across our Apprentice and Skills provision.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work across the wider business.

Each customer has different needs and therefore this is an exciting and varied role which offers great exposure to working with a wide range of business areas.

You will also be able to contribute to our digital transformation project as we continue to develop and adapt to online delivery and electronic data recording.
