Computer Vision Senior Data Scientist/Senior Software Engineer

Job Overview:
We are currently looking for dedicated Senior Developers and Data Scientists to join our dynamic team. As part of our team, you will focus on advancing novel Deep-Learning Neural Networks for machine vision applications, catering to prominent clients in the UK's public sector, defense, and aerospace industries.

  • Contribute to the evolution of neural networks bridging Transformer and CNN technologies towards future Spiking Neural Networks (SNN).
  • Address challenges in computer vision and object recognition through continuous enhancements based on cutting-edge neuroscience-inspired research.
  • Play a pivotal role in achieving our strategic objectives and making a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance software using the latest machine learning and computer vision algorithms.
  • Leverage expertise in Transformers, CNNs, and image analysis to develop advanced neural network solutions.
  • Contribute to software development and practical problem-solving activities.
  • Collaborate in defining the software development roadmap and delivering core components.
  • Work closely with research partners and assist commercial teams in capitalizing on business prospects.
  • Ensure timely achievement of project milestones and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Python and Pytorch.
  • Ability to create and elucidate tailored neural network solutions.
  • Proficiency in discussing and applying the latest advancements in deep learning and computer vision.
  • Demonstrated track record in designing and scaling top-notch software solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Transformer or CNN neural networks for real-time object detection, tracking, segmentation, or pose estimation.
  • Experience with SCRUM or agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of GANs and synthetic data generation.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Blender, and 3D modeling.
  • Background in academic/industrial research and exposure to the UK public sector clientele.
  • Strong educational background; preferably holding an MSc or PhD in computer vision/machine learning.
  • Publication history in leading computer vision journals or conferences.
