As the Senior Data Scientist at Sensor Tower, you will use your expertise in digital advertising and your knowledge of the mobile, desktop, and OTT industries to devise strategies that enhance the precision and offerings of our Digital Marketing insights solution, which relies on extensive data (over 140 billion data records). This solution enables our clients to discover valuable insights such as the top advertising apps or brands on various channels and platforms, the most effective creatives across specific ad networks, an advertiser's primary marketing platform, and the advertising expenditure in different channels and countries.

What You Will Be Involved In

  • Implementing data modeling algorithms focusing on: analyzing extensive data sets, constructing models, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and uniformity.
  • Creating, refining, and deploying data models. This role entails working on models used by end users, developing internal tools and ad-hoc reports, as well as contributing to the actual product that our users depend on daily.
  • Offering insights on leveraging AI to enhance workflows for data extraction and categorization.
  • Adopting a rapid build, evaluate, and refine approach to launch products into the market, collaborating with top-notch engineers and data scientists.
  • Serving as a specialist in digital advertising.
What We Seek

  • Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science or a related engineering/ technical or quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Data Scientist experience in ad-tech/mar-tech or data analytics firms, encompassing:
  • business intelligence, data mining, analytics, and statistical modeling disciplines;
  • analyzing and presenting data insights and code, effectively communicating with technical developers and non-technical marketing colleagues, team members, and leaders;
  • implementing machine learning algorithms, handling end-to-end machine learning pipelines in production;
  • data engineering involving ETL pipelines, API and web crawling, and automating outputs;
  • managing detailed timelines and expectations while executing projects in a robust manner that foresees future changes and integrations with other areas of the product;
  • conducting data research, recognizing critical edge cases for comprehensive data understanding;
  • proficiency in Python or Ruby, utilizing various database technologies and statistical visualization tools.
