We have a position available for quality controller to work alongside production and to assist the technical manager with general lab work.

Monday - Friday

40 hours per week

The daily duties of the job will involve the following:

  • Carrying out QC procedures to correctly test customer & supplier products to ensure they fall within set specifications.
  • Producing Samples for customers.
  • Carrying out particle sieve analysis on samples, products & incoming raw materials.
  • Using spectrophotometers to measure L* a* b* values on pigments to ensure colours are in specification.
  • Updating quality records with test results.
  • Ensuring that Safety data sheet and technical data sheets are maintained correctly.
  • Using laboratory equipment to obtain test results and to obtain data for developing projects.
Applicant must have GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Full training will be given
