WHAT TO EXPECT
Jaguar Racing competes in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

As a Senior PR & Communications Officer you will be a key part of the team focused on promoting and protecting Jaguar Racing/JLR, internally and externally, to create an outstanding reputation as a responsible, innovative and sustainable global company.


You will be supporting the Global PR & Communications Manager, to develop strategy and deliver market-leading campaigns for Jaguar Racing and its commercial partners.

As a main point of contact for our markets, you will be liaising with International PR Managers to enable our plans to be clearly communicated to help maximise opportunities.


You will have a chance to flourish by supporting proactive media relations to secure earned coverage in key media verticals and ensuring that the communications plan, messaging and asset information is delivered effectively.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Leading the development, coordination and communication of the PR strategy, activities and campaigns for Jaguar Racing and its commercial partners to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Creating and telling positive stories that focus on the team's 'Race to Inspire' mission and that demonstrate reputational value and brand health
  • Assisting with the creation of content including copy, images, graphics, videos, press packs, Q&A, statements etc.
  • Be the first point of contact for media enquiries
  • Race weekend planning and scheduling

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Significant PR experience enabling you to contribute to the development of our PR strategy
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and proactively solve problems
  • Experience of working with media to generate positive news stories
  • Ability to think creatively and produce imaginative content to support product stories
  • Be an influential communicator


This position requires domestic and international travel to JLR and Jaguar TCS Racing offices as well as race events, tests and team events.

Due to the nature of competing in a global championship, this role will require some weekend work.
