Location Remote First - principally home based also includes visiting prisons and supporting customers in Glasgow, East Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and surrounding local authorities.

Salary £25,664 + excellent benefits

Hours 35 hours per week (flexible working)

Status Fixed Term until 31 March 2025

The Wise Group along with our partners, deliver the New Routes Throughcare Mentoring service which sees our team of mentors work with males serving short-term custodial sentences in Scottish prisons, to help reduce reoffending and rebuild lives.


Our Throughcare support includes, but is not limited to, assistance with accommodation upon liberation, support with mental health, addiction and behaviour, digital inclusion, connecting universal services and, in appropriate circumstances, assistance with gaining and maintaining meaningful employment.

You may well have a previous offending background and spent some time in prison. If so, now is the chance to put this experience to good use and become a Mentor.


A full driving licence and daily use of a car is required as there will be some travelling required in this post.

Home broadband connection is also required to allow home working.
