This is a unique opportunity to work on establishing a new Museum and Anti-Racism Archive for Scotland.

In January 2024, Scottish Government accepted in full the recommendations of the Empire, Slavery and Scotland's Museums project.

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our community development efforts and work closely with our team to establish a new Museum and Anti-Racism Archive for Scotland.

The successful candidate will have experience in community development, social enterprise, and disability and equality work.

They will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to promote social justice and equality, and for working with community groups and organizations to build their capacity and promote their work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the issues affecting marginalized communities and will be able to develop and implement effective strategies to address these issues.

They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, and will be able to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

This is a full-time position, with flexible working options available.
