YMCA Robin Hood Group is excited to announce the search for a new Executive Director of Children in Care. In this role, you will lead our residential service for children who have faced trauma, guiding them to 'discover who they are and what they can become'.
The main objective is to create and implement a comprehensive care continuum to support young people in our community who have had challenging beginnings.
You will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction, financial sustainability, and leadership framework for the children's residential service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing service delivery, improving services, managing the registration of new homes, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize resource utilization.
- Create and implement the strategic direction for children's residential service
- Manage sourcing and registration of new homes and services
- Develop a sustainable business plan aligned with strategic goals
- Work on a workforce development plan for skilled recruitment and staff growth
- Contribute to the growth and positive impact of the service
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in children's residential care, operations, and strategic growth. Your ability to cultivate a culture of teamwork and excellence will be crucial. Also, you should be able to demonstrate success in opening and expanding services and securing funding.
As a member of our Executive Leadership Team, having an MBA or equivalent qualification is desired. This role will cover our homes in Nottingham, Newark, Goole, and Selby, with main office locations in Nottingham and Newark.
