We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager and Head of Care in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers to ensure the highest standards of care and support for children.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of children in our care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy or Assistant Manager in the Residential Child Care sector.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
- Full understanding of safeguarding children and ability to implement policies and procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to the changing needs of children and the care team.
