Job Description:

My client is a well-established and highly successful ecology practice. Due to growth, they are very keen to recruit a Principal or Associate Director level Ecologist to join their established team in Devon. This is a hybrid role and candidates that are based further afield will be considered, as long candidates can be at the office 1 or 2 days a week.

Candidates will require:

  1. A good relevant degree.
  2. At least 7 years of professional experience, the majority in consultancy.
  3. Proven ability to prepare and review reports, including EcIAs, HRAs, ES Ecology chapters and Ecological Management Plans.
  4. Experience of working directly with clients, design teams, planners and regulators.
  5. Technical excellence in survey, assessment and mitigation.
  6. Full Membership of CIEEM; Chartered Ecologist/Environmentalist advantageous.
