Main Duties of the Job

  • Exciting opportunity to join the Gynaecology Inpatient Ward, provide care for a diverse patient group. Assist in running the Department effectively for a quality patient experience. Collaborate with doctors and nursing/midwifery staff to deliver high-quality, individualized care.
  • Varied role involving holistic patient care/support, direct care, obtaining blood samples, and Chaperoning. Rotational shifts include long days, nights, and weekends.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with bed making, cleaning, preparing admissions, patient observations, and clinical skills. Undertake routine tasks under nurse supervision, ensuring patient valuables' security, and providing daily care.
  • Notify dietary requirements and assist in patient movements. Responsible for equipment preparation and necessary liaising. Follow the attached job description and person specification for details.

Qualifications & Learning

  • Essential: Good Basic Education, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience. Desirable: Manual Handling & Lifting, Evidence of Professional/Vocational Development.

Experience

  • Desirable: Demonstrated experience in a similar caring role, Clerical experience.
