The Housekeeping department are recruiting for a full time Linen Porter to join the team. You must be physically fit and able to communicate fluently in English.

Duties of the Linen Porter:

• Ensure all linen is counted, arrival and departure, and corresponds with delivery notes
• Stock linen cupboards as required
• Move linen (clean and dirty) as required around the property
• Vacuuming public areas and stairs on a daily basis
• Shampoo carpets as requested/required
• Assist Head Housekeeper with stock taking of all items
• Support Room Attendants by stripping beds and removing linen
• Ensure deliveries – cleaning materials and toiletries – are stored correctly

Skills and experience required for the Linen Porter role:

• Physically fit – this is an extremely manual role
• Be able to communicate in fluent English, written and verbal
• Proactive approach to work
• Team player
• Initiative

We are offering a competitive salary of £24,970 per annum for 40 hours per week. Shifts will include working evenings, weekends and Public/Bank Holidays. Service charge will be paid after completing one full months service.

Please be aware Lucknam Park is located in beautiful countryside which is difficult to reach via public transport, therefore your own transport would be advisable to enable you to fulfil the shifts required for this role.
