Job Summary:

The Housekeeping department at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa is seeking a full-time Linen Porter to join their team. As a Linen Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of linen management, including counting, stocking, and moving linen as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Count and verify linen arrival and departure, ensuring accuracy and correspondence with delivery notes
  • Stock linen cupboards as needed to maintain optimal levels
  • Move linen (clean and dirty) throughout the property as required
  • Conduct daily vacuuming of public areas and stairs
  • Shampoo carpets as requested by management
  • Assist the Head Housekeeper with stock taking of all items
  • Support Room Attendants by stripping beds and removing linen
  • Ensure cleaning materials and toiletries are stored correctly

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness, as this role requires manual labor
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English
  • Proactive approach to work and a team player
  • Initiative and ability to work independently

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £24,970 per annum for 40 hours per week. Shifts will include working evenings, weekends, and Public/Bank Holidays. Service charge will be paid after completing one full month's service.

Please note that Lucknam Park is located in a rural area with limited public transportation, making it essential for the candidate to have their own transportation to fulfill the required shifts.
