Position

£13.50 + service charge

As the Cafe Supervisor you will be working in our Grand Bar. Located on the ground floor of our Liverpool Street location, the Grand Bar or Illy Cafe, is the heart of our store. As a supervisor you will lead a team of baristas and team members and support the managers in overseeing the daily operations of the café from setting up for morning rush, to ensuring appropriate cover throughout the day, and carrying out closing procedures. Previous experience as a Barista is a must.

This role is full time, 40 hours per week, with shifts falling between 6am and 11pm. Successful candidates will be available to work flexibly throughout the week as we cannot offer set shifts or days off due to the business' operational needs.

Requirements

  • Experience within a cafe, bar, coffee shops or restaurant in a supervisor capacity, leading, and coaching a larger team.
  • Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.
  • Experience with opening and closing procedures in coffee shops.
  • An outgoing and vibrant personality aimed at making our guests feel welcome.
  • Flexibility to work across mornings, evenings, bank holidays and weekends.
  • Availability to work flexibly between 6am and 11pm as we cannot offer set shifts or days off.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Right to work in the UK.
