Intro to the role:

We are looking for a paid social specialist to continue their career as an Account Manager. This person will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of a busy client account (or accounts). They will be required to work with the line manager to help oversee more junior team members with the overall aim of delivering flawless paid social campaigns for clients. The ideal candidate is someone with good working knowledge of paid advertising across one or more of the key social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok, etc). This person will also be required to develop relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, becoming a trusted voice for all things paid social.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management:

  • Developing comprehensive paid social media plans that align with client objectives and KPIs.
  • Responsible for end-to-end setup of paid social campaigns across all relevant social platforms.
  • Responsible for ensuring regular quality assurance checks are undertaken.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Working with Executives and the Global Hub team to produce detailed campaign performance reports.
  • Writing performance commentary that delivers valuable insight and recommendations to clients.
  • Producing more detailed analysis including end-of-campaign reporting.

Client & Partner Management:

  • Acting as a key social point-of-contact for your client(s).
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of media and technology developments.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key media partners.

People Management:

  • Working with your line manager to ensure effective management of junior team members.
  • Communicating clearly and in a timely manner with stakeholders.
  • Attending regular internal meetings and training sessions.
  • Assisting with the recruitment process for the team.

Operational Excellence:

  • Identify opportunities to test and innovate in the paid social space.
  • Working closely with the planning team to ensure paid social activity complements the wider marketing mix.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely fulfilment of mandatory agency finance processes.

About You:

  • Experience working in a digital marketing or agency-based role.
  • Extensive experience setting up and optimising paid social campaigns across key social platforms.
  • Experience planning large-scale paid social campaigns.
  • Experience compiling detailed and insightful end-of-campaign reports.
  • Forming strong relationships is key to the role.
  • Teamwork is essential; we are looking for someone who is collaborative and friendly.
  • Some experience line managing individuals would be preferable.
