Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the UK Sales Team Lead, the Embedded Systems Manager provides critical support to Technical Solutions, Tech Ops Centre, New Builds, and integrator field teams. You'll dive into access control, video management, and physical security hardware, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence for our enterprise accounts. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional ready to apply knowledge in real-time and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Master and Apply Expertise: Quickly learn complex systems and translate that knowledge into actionable plans and decisions that keep projects on track.
  • Prioritize with Precision: Manage and prioritize enterprise account tasks and projects, balancing urgency and impact to meet business needs.
  • Be a Flexible Force: Step outside regular hours when required, ensuring uninterrupted support for critical operations.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Maintain a consistently high level of customer service and professionalism, building trust with every interaction.
  • Troubleshoot like a pro: Use hands-on experience to diagnose and resolve issues with physical security hardware, network cabling, and Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs).
  • Document with Detail: Execute and record system changes with meticulous accuracy, ensuring clarity and compliance.
  • Collaborate and Lead: Foster a team-oriented environment, working closely with customers and colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Stay ahead of the Curve: Support systems like AMAG (Access Control), Genetec (Video Management), and a range of hardware, including IP cameras, sensors, and electric locks—become certified within 90 days if not already.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years of experience in the physical security industry, focusing on technology deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Proven skills in access control (e.g., AMAG, Brivo), video management (e.g., Genetec, ExacqVision), and physical security hardware (e.g., IP cameras, sensors, locks).
  • Familiarity with life safety, fire detection, suppression systems, and general low-voltage technologies (sound and data).
  • A self-driven mindset with a curiosity for how systems work and a passion for learning.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to unite teams and delight customers.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Certification or equivalent experience in Access Control Systems, Video Management, or Network/IP Technologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise-level or global customers and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM).
  • General project management and team leadership experience to guide initiatives to success.

Systems You'll Work With

  • Access Control: AMAG (certification required within 90 days), Brivo, biometrics, key/locker management.
  • Video Management: Genetec (certification required within 90 days), ExacqVision, Eagle Eye.
  • Hardware: Access control panels, IP cameras, sensors, electric locks, IP bio readers, IP intercoms, and key management systems.
