Although we are a remote-first team hiring in the UK and Spain, keeping our employees connected remains extremely important. To bring everyone together, we meet three times a year at various European locations for focused co-working weeks and dynamic team-building activities.

About The Role

Paired is expanding into offering gifts for couples and we are seeking a passionate leader to grow this new business line. Our vision is to become the #1 online store for digital and physical gifts that enhance connection, intimacy, and fun in couple relationships.

In this entrepreneurial role, you'll have full ownership of our online store, from selecting products to managing product design, manufacturing and logistics, as well as the website and marketing. You'll work with the existing Paired team and external partners to deliver an outstanding shopping experience to couples around the world.

This is a unique opportunity to build a new business from scratch, backed by the resources and audience of the #1 brand for couples. This role will likely evolve into a senior leadership role as the store grows, new products are launched and new hires are required.

What Your Role Encompasses

Strategy & planning

  • Develop and execute a plan to achieve £1M in online store revenue within the first 12 months
  • Identify high-potential couple gift opportunities aligned with our brand and customers, supported by insights from primary and secondary research
  • Define and track progress against KPIs to measure success and optimize performance across the store

Product management & design

  • Oversee the ideation, design, and packaging of products to create unique couple gifts that incorporate Paired's relationship expertise
  • Collaborate with the Design and Brand teams and external partners to bring new digital and physical products to market

Operations & logistics

  • Source and manage manufacturing and shipping partners, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Handle logistics, including inventory management, fulfillment, and delivery, with a focus on creating a seamless customer experience

Website development

  • Build and manage the online store, leveraging Shopify (or similar platform) to ensure a smooth and intuitive customer journey
  • Regularly optimize the website for performance, conversion, and user experience

Marketing & customer support

  • Collaborate with the Brand & Growth teams to develop campaigns that drive traffic and sales
  • Create compelling product descriptions, visuals, and branding for all products
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support
Minimum Requirements
  • A true passion for building and developing products
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, ideally in a leadership or entrepreneurial role focused on US markets
  • Proven track record of building and scaling an online store from the ground up
  • Deep understanding of D2C e-commerce, including product sourcing, logistics, fulfillment, and digital marketing
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify, including store setup, optimization, and app integrations
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify high-potential products and drive revenue growth
  • Data-driven mindset with experience optimizing conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple workstreams, from product development to logistics and marketing
  • Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional online shopping experiences
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with design, growth, and operations teams
  • Must reside in the UK or Spain and have the legal right to work there (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship)

  • Prior success in launching a subscription-based or high-retention e-commerce business
  • Hands-on expertise in performance marketing, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO)

Compensation and Benefits
  • Yearly salary of £80-90k (UK) / €81-92k (Spain) plus cash bonuses for meeting growth targets
