Whatyou’ll be doing:

  • Leading and contributing on elementsof Operational Excellence initiatives and responsible businessbehaviours
  • Responsible for the deployment ofapplicable improvement tools and techniques to team members andstakeholders ensuring they have a thorough understanding of thecontent, risks, and control measures and that they can demonstratetheir competence to apply them
  • Supporting the Operational ExcellenceManagement team in addressing planned and unplannedtasks
  • Providing guidance to lessexperienced colleagues
  • Supporting with the functionaldevelopment of Operational Excellence

Your skills andexperiences:

Essential

  • Working understanding of OperationalExcellence/Continuous Improvement methodologies including Lean andSix Sigma
  • Knowledge of Project Managementprinciples
  • Demonstrable experience ofpresentation skills and leading workshops
  • Ability to communicate effectivelywith a wide range of people and teams motivating them to embracechange and create buy in
  • Experience of understanding andbreaking down complex issues and communicating to a variety ofstakeholders

Desirable

  • Background in STEM preferred orequivalent experience
  • Ideally Lean Practitioner and /or SixSigma Qualified or relevant industry-basedexperience
