**Job Description:**
The IT Change Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all changes to the IT infrastructure and systems within the organization. This role ensures that changes are implemented smoothly, with minimal disruption to operations and maximum benefit to the business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive change management process, including procedures for requesting, evaluating, approving, and implementing changes.
2. Facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review and approve proposed changes, ensuring that all stakeholders are represented and risks are properly assessed.
3. Assess the impact of proposed changes on IT services, systems, and infrastructure, and communicate potential risks and benefits to stakeholders.
4. Coordinate with project managers, system administrators, and other IT teams to plan and schedule changes, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and dependencies are managed effectively.
5. Monitor the implementation of approved changes, tracking progress and addressing any issues or delays that arise.
6. Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of changes and identify opportunities for improvement.
7. Develop and maintain documentation related to change management processes, including change records, impact assessments, and post-implementation reviews.
8. Provide guidance and support to IT teams and stakeholders on change management best practices and procedures.
9. Act as a point of contact for change-related inquiries and escalations, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns as needed.
10. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in change management, incorporating new methodologies and tools as appropriate.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in change management, preferably in an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations and make data-driven decisions.
- Certification in change management (e.g., ITIL Change Management Practitioner) is a plus.
