MajorJobFunctions
Developand deliver procurement function strategic goals and KeyPerformance Indicators (e.g., cost reduction, process improvements,and standardisation) through dedicated management and activeparticipation with the regional operations teams and global supplychain team.
Oversee anddrive procurement and vendor management’s strategic objectives atthe local levels.
Ensure theimplementation of and compliance with negotiated contracts,agreements, policies, andprocedures.
Develop andmaintain close alignment with Global Procurement to delivercorporate objectives within Regional operational requirements andstrategies.
Partner andliaise with and influence internal business partners to ensureearly involvement and optimal use of procurement and suppliertools, processes and systems. Build strong relationships with otherkey departments to influence wider business thinking and to adopt amore collaborative approach through ourteams.
Mentor and supportproject management concepts in the planning and execution ofprocurementprojects.
Provide directionand clearly communicate targets to teams, measuring performanceagainst agreedtargets.
Identify trainingand development opportunities to increase skills and improveperformance. Develop the capability and skill set of theProcurementTeam.
Development ofstrategic relationships with keysuppliers
Embed a robust andsustainable supplier management process and culture within thebusiness. Ensuring the necessary Management and tools (FrameworkAgreements, SLA, Warranty) required are installed utilised andleveraged to best results of thebusiness.
