Role

Nigel James Associates are proud to be working with one of the fastest growing wealth planning companies in the UK who have a clear objective of being one of the leading players in industry within the next few years. As part of their ongoing expansion they are seeking an experienced Paraplanning Leader to oversee paraplanning nationally. You will have team leaders reporting into you and will be your responsibility to make sure that the paraplanning division are delivering in line with company's client advice process, working with the wider financial planning team reporting into the Group Operations Director.

Some of the responsibilities within the role would include:

  • Review the current structure in place, making sure it is suitable the demands of the business, making changes to processes and procedures where necessary to ensure better efficiency and effectively design and deliver solutions
  • Provide technical expertise to the paraplanning team as well as the wider business
  • Ensure production of first-class report writing and research on a full range of financial planning products and services
  • Ensure best practice is shared and consistency achieved throughout
  • Undertake any necessary projects to support the businesses strategic initiatives

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must be and/or have:

  • An experienced Paraplanner Manager that has ideally led teams on a national scale
  • A minimum Level 4 qualified
  • Being strategically minded in order to work to a common cause with other senior stakeholders in the business to meet companywide objectives
  • Involvement in process design and structures
  • Experience in training and developing individuals and teams
