Site & Project Manager - Chertsey, Surrey

Job Type: Full Time - Seasonal (Fixed End Date)

What you'll bring to the team

Join our dynamic team and take on an exciting role as a Site & Project Manager under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager, coordinating the delivery of new and innovative projects for our Southern Theme Parks and attractions. As the primary point of contact, you’ll become a trusted business partner and creative solution provider for all theming initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Understand project deliverables and costings, and work within the budget.
  • Manage on-site and off-site activities, ensuring timely delivery per the program.
  • Collaborate with the external GC for effective coordination.
  • Work with the Production Manager, Design Manager, and contractors to ensure projects are on time and within budget.
  • Maintain high Health & Safety standards for all contractors and installation teams.
  • Attend OURA meetings and integrate findings into the design process.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and contract administration.
  • Generate and monitor risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Be flexible with additional and unsociable hours if required.
  • Project management duties may extend to other areas based on workload.
  • Liaise with the Production Manager/Theming Contractor to agree on production and delivery timelines
  • Maintain the highest H&S standards on and off-site

Qualifications & Experience

  • A proactive and experienced Site & Project Manager familiar with working in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of PM  processes e.g. risk logs, cost control, programmes etc
  • Good systems skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively and professionally communicate with stakeholders of all levels
  • A problem-solving attitude and drive to get the job done to a high-standard
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including a good command of the English language.
  • Fantastic team player who can motivate themselves and a team under pressure
  • Ideal but not essential to have an APM qualification, Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, Engineering, Architecture or similar.
