As a Wellbeing and ActivitiesCoordinator, you will:

  • Inspire and motivate residents to take part in meaningfulengagements.
  • Assist in the assessment of theneeds of the residents, through meeting with them, team members andfamily members
  • Build relationships withresidents and families to gather life story information and ensurecare plans and activities are developed and updatedaccordingly
  • Spend individual time withresidents, care staff and relatives to create personalisedactivities that engage our residents and reflect their interest andhobbies
  • Support providing stimulation and toresidents that meet their individual needs through a wide andvaried activities programme including music, exercise and arts& crafts
  • Be creative with furtheractivities to push the boundaries of the typical activityprogramme.
  • Assist in developing communitylinks with local groups and arrange trips and excursions withvaried destinations and purposes to involve as many residents inactivity outside the Home
  • Support in theroll-out of the Magic Moments initiatives and encourage others tobe involved
  • Complete evidencing and trackingactivity documentation via digital and written methods
