Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Car Parks Assistant Manager to join our Car Parks team

In this role, you will take ownership of the Car Park department: the first and last team to see our guests at the Resort Responsible for managing the team, with a key focus on guests safe arrival to and exit from the Resort, you will oversee the operation, ensuring all cars are parked efficiently, surrounding areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness, all whilst guaranteeing safe working procedures are followed. 

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be actively supporting your team; a hands-on approach is essential to understand the needs of our guests and your staff. You will recruit, train and lead the team to deliver a consistent and well communicated operation whilst liaising with key stakeholders and other colleagues across the Resort. You will also have insight into the ANPR system, which is key in forecasting gate code openings, budgeting and ensuring relevant staffing levels within the Car Parks team.  

This role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include late nights, early starts, weekends and bank holidays as required.

Qualification & Experience

  • An adaptable leader with a proven experience working within a fast paced environment 
  • Good understanding of data analysis and spotting key trends to make relevant amendments
  • Full UK Drivers License is desirable
  • Enjoys working outdoors
