Role Overview
Our client are looking for a motivated and capable Marketing & Customer Support Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will split your time between marketing (40%) and customer support (60%). You’ll contribute to various marketing activities, crafting compelling content, and helping with client onboarding and ongoing support. As part of a small, dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in supporting both marketing initiatives and customer satisfaction, helping achieve business objectives and driving continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Duties
- Creating content for marketing materials, including website, blogs, email campaigns, social media posts, and more.
- Developing case studies and gathering customer testimonials.
- Managing social media profiles (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram).
- Crafting and sending monthly newsletters and other communication emails.
- Using Canva to design and update visual assets.
- Assisting with the organisation of events, webinars, and conference participation.
- Researching competitors and keeping track of industry trends.
- Maintaining HubSpot CRM data.
- Supporting marketing initiatives and projects in collaboration with the wider team.
Customer Support Duties
- Helping with client onboarding and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
- Preparing agendas for client meetings, recording notes, and tracking actions in HubSpot.
- Assisting with weekly reporting and contributing to team discussions.
- Overseeing our online helpdesk and managing the team inbox.
- Assisting with the management of parent community groups (WhatsApp).
- Monitoring user survey responses and coordinating incentives.
- Responding to app store reviews and ratings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other
- 1+ years of experience in marketing, copywriting, customer support or other
- Familiarity with HubSpot or any similar software
- Strong copywriting and written communication skills
- Flexible and can-do attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external
- Collaborative, self-starter with a growth mindset
- Takes the initiative and works independently to achieve goals
- Understands and prioritises customer needs, providing exceptional service
