Main Purpose of thejob:
The role of the multi skilled flexiop is to carry out responsibilities to ensure all areas fromfrying, flavouring, packing machines, palletising and case packingare to specification as laid out in company standards.


Responsibilities

MainResponsibilities:
  • Working as part of the team to keep therelevant zone (process/flavour/packaging/palletising) in controland at a green standard against all metrics (Safety, Quality, Costsand Production PlanDelivery)
  • Operating equipment to the requiredoperating standards safely and costeffectively
  • Completing the required food safety andquality testing throughout the shift to ensure total complianceagainst standards
  • Taking ownership of the relevant areaby keeping it clean, safe to operate and audit ready at alltimes
  • Taking ownership and action of tests and checks that falloutside of standards
  • Escalating issues around safety,quality, costs or production plan delivery issues to team leader orshift engineer
  • Completion of relevant paperwork to theright standards on time infull
  • Completion of changeovers and clean downs to expectedstandards on time in full
  • Pro – active approach to safety,quality, costs and production plan delivery by escalation of issuesand ideas

Qualifications

Essential skills andknowledge:
  • Previous experience in themanufacturing environment ispreferable
  • An acceptable level of Englishunderstanding to be able to comply with and understand all verbaland written communication
  • Numerically literate, being able to usecalculator and understandpercentages.
  • Being able to identify non-conformancesin the working area. 
  • Being able to articulate and communicate all performanceissues and opportunities.
  • Good understanding of KPIs, andunderstanding how a factoryworks.
